| About TRFLP | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
For those UCSD/SIO researchers interested in performing Terminal Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism (TRFLP) analyses on the MegaBace 500 in Hubbs Hall at SIO. The list was created to share/develop machine specific parameters (DNA concentrations, digestion conditions, run length) and analysis methods as well as to coordinate instrument time and the purchase of common consumables. Non-UCSD/SIO subscribers will be considered on a case-by-case basis; this is not a general interest TRFLP list. For a general description of the TRFLP method see Liu et al. 1997, Appl. Env. Micro. 63(11):4516-4522 and Clement et al. 1998, J. Microbiol. Meth. 31(3):135-142. To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the TRFLP Archives. (The current archive is only available to the list members.) |
