Hi All,

Prof. Danny Sigman (Princeton) will give the first Earth Seminar of the
Spring quarter, entitled "The polar ocean, glacial cycles, and
atmospheric CO2", this Monday, March 31 at 3:15 in Hubbs 4500.

As the title of his talk suggests, Dr. Sigman's work focuses largely on
the biogeochemical cycling of important elements over glacial
timescales. The majority of the rest his work deals with the paleo
applications of nitrogen cycling in isolated basins, the Southern Ocean,
and porewaters. For a more detailed summary of his work, please see:
http://geoweb.princeton.edu/people/sigman/research.html

As always, there will be refreshments beforehand at 3:00. Hope to see
you there!

Best,
Jonathan
