[SCCOOS] Ocean Observatories Meeting

I am arranging a day's meeting at Scripps and UCSD (Hubbs Hall) on 6 
January 2005 regarding the NSF Ocean Observatories Initiative (OOI) and 
the Ocean Research Interactive Observatory Networks (ORION).  I intend 
that the meeting will last from approximately 9:00 am until 4:00 pm.  
The ORION Executive Steering Committee will soon call for proposals for 
scientific projects for the OOI/ORION and this will be the first step 
in ensuring scientists at UCSD are able to participate competitively. 
Please put this on your calendars - I will send more details including 
an agenda for the meeting later in December.
